About LITAS Aviation

Inspired by aviation’s past, engineering its future.

Founded by a ROCC Examiner and FISO‑licensed professional with experience across multiple UK GA aerodromes (Turweston, Sywell, Blackbushe, Shobdon, Fenland). We combine tower‑level practicality with modern, light‑touch systems that make daily ops easier.

The origin of “LITAS”

The name pays tribute to the Low Intensity Two‑Colour Approach Slope Indicator System — an early visual approach aid still found at several UK aerodromes (e.g., Fenland and Conington). Like its namesake, LITAS Aviation is built around clarity, precision and practicality — modernising the way small airfields work while respecting the systems that guided pilots safely for decades.

Why choose LITAS Aviation

  • CAA‑Approved Examiner with real GA operations experience
  • Practical, no‑fluff teaching approach
  • Transparent pricing and clear communication
  • Live tower environment at Turweston
  • Modern approach — integrating AI and data‑driven improvement

Testimonial
